Description

The Gold Bee Bag’s bee & skep (beehive) design was inspired by the significance of beeswax to medieval pilgrimage and the Camino. Beeswax became the favored substance for the production of votive candles and ex-voto objects that pilgrims left at shrines. Beeswax held a mystical importance given to it by the ancients, who thought bees were sacred animals.
