- Finisterre translates as “The End of the Earth,” which references the ancients who thought the earth ended at the ocean. It’s both a busy tourist spot and a Camino destination.
- Muxía is a quiet fishing village and a pilgrimage site. In September a “romeria” (short distance pilgrimage) takes place by the water’s edge at the Santuario da Virxe da Barca where ex-votos are left.
- You can receive a certificate for walking to Finisterre (a Finisterrana) & to Muxía (a Muxiana).
